Assassin's Creed Brotherhood review

Introduction
After the success of the first two games in the Assassin's Creed series, Ubisoft has released their highly anticipated game. Introducing a new setting, new characters, and new challenges, and an all new multiplayer mode, Assassin's Creed Brotherhood tries to raise the bar for the series.

Story
Brotherhood is set in the Italian renaissance, and it follows the character from Assassin's Creed 2, Ezio Auditore da Firenze. The game is set in multiple cities, including Rome, Venice, and Florence. Following his family's death, he is out for vengeance. Ezio is part of the brotherhood, meaning he is an assassin and serves to protect their order. The missions include taking out targets and helping others, all while on his personal quest. We would definitely recommend playing Assassin’s Creed 2 first, therefore, you will fully understand the story. The story continues progressing into something very big that we will not spoil in the review, but we can mention you will be in contact with Leonardo da Vinci, and you get to try out some of his inventions. (Hint, it might contain a human flight machine.)

Gameplay
Perhaps the best thing about the Assassin's Creed series is the gameplay. You are able to go wherever you want within the cities-- climbing buildings, jumping into haystacks, running around the streets, rowing gondolas, and even riding horses! You have so much freedom inside the game, and it opens up so many doors and opportunities for things to do. We can promise you will never get tired of exploring Rome, especially climbing around the Colosseum. The controls work great, and the music is very appropriate, either being very calming, or very engaging. The combat had also been improved from the previous games, allowing players to chain kills without having to stop in between. This provides for a much faster and fluent experience. Horse combat had also been introduced, allowing you to take aim and jump off your horse to take out your target. You can also recruit people in the world to be your Assassins, and you can call on them when in need. Ubisoft really notched the gameplay up in this game, and we love it.

Graphics/Design
The original Assassin's Creed was a gold mine for those who wanted the "latest and greatest" graphics. It was absolutely amazing; the level of detail and quality was astounding. Brotherhood carries of that tradition, and while it's not completely revolutionary, it does manage to polish and refine the whole world to make it more appealing. It is easy to get lost within the world because you are distracted by the beautiful landscapes. The developers have been careful to include accurate depictions of renaissance Italy, so you can really see back in time. The game runs amazing on the PC, while on the console counterparts it runs okay, at around 30 frames per second rendered in 720p. For the optimal experience we highly recommend playing this title on a powerful PC. We did encounter some graphical glitches here and there, such as the character appearing to walk while standing still, and people in the crowd disappearing, but we trust the developers will patch this over time.

Conclusion
All in all, we agree on the basis that this game has brought a whole new, more refined Assassin's Creed game to us. This game is exactly what we believe Assassin's Creed 2 should have been, and it has been an amazing ride throughout the whole game. To any action and adventure gamer, we highly recommend this title, and give it a solid 4.6/5 stars.…...

Law Review

...CREED CASE LAW REVIEW May 2012 INTRODUCTION When the Ontario Human Rights Code became law in 1962, creed was one of the original grounds of discrimination. This was likely to deal with the fact that at the time, there was significant overt discrimination against religious minorities. Over time, Canada’s legal and societal approach to creed rights has evolved significantly. However, it continues to be one of, if not the, most complex and controversial area of rights law. Perhaps more than any other ground in human rights codes, creed rights tend to give rise to strong opinions, even among those who may not otherwise have much to say about human rights. Everything from what is creed (and what beliefs and practices are protected under the ground of creed), how creed claims are proven, how creed must be accommodated and what to do where creed bumps up against other rights have led to judicial interpretation and public debate. In Quebec, the provincial government appointed a Commission on Accommodation Practices Related to Cultural Differences 1 in response to public discontent concerning accommodation of, among other things, creed rights. This may be in part because creed is unique in some respects. It encompasses not just innate personal characteristics but also covers associated practices and beliefs. Rights in relation to religion have been recognized as not just equality rights, but also among the “fundamental freedoms” of every Canadian as listed in s. 2 of the Canadian......

The Creed of the Specialist

...The creed of the Specialist No one gets away with more than I. I am a non Non-Commissioned Officer, a beast of burden. As a junior enlisted soldier I realize that I am a member of an under appreciated, much chastised group of soldiers which is known as the ribcage, or perhaps pancreas, of the Army. I am proud of myself and my fellow Specialists and will continue to bitch, whine and sham until the absolute last second regardless of the mission at hand. I will use my grade and position to avoid responsibility, accountability and any sense of presence of mind. Ignorance is my watchword. My two best excuses will always be on the tip of my tongue "I didn't know," and "It wasn't me." I will strive to remain invisible and unavailable for details. Never ever volunteer for anything is my rallying cry. I am aware of my role as a SPC and if you need me for anything, I'll be on appointment. I know the other soldiers, and I will always refer to them by their first name or in some cases derogatory nickname. On weekends, or days off I will consistently drink myself into oblivion, and I will never answer my phone. I understand that for a person in my hierarchal position, rewards are going to be few and far between, and punishment will always be swift and severe. Officers of my unit will have maximum time to accomplish their duties, because I will be accomplishing them for them. I will kiss up to their face and badmouth them behind their back, just like everyone else. I will be...

Teachers Creed

...The Teacher’s Creed I believe in the innate goodness of boys and girls , in the wonders of their young minds of great potential, waiting to be molded and developed into the promise of tomorrow. I believe in the right of every child to an education, for his days to be honed in laughter , encouraged in love, immersed in truth, nurtured in wisdom, laced in deals and filled with hope to be whatever he chooses to be, given the proper guidance and encouragement to soar the heights of his reason and being. I believe in the dignity of teaching, in the power of the teacher to influence a child till eternity, in his ability to make a child wise and good, strong to face trials and adversities, seasoned with temperance, self-denial and patience, in his dexterity to discuss and lead the willing young hearts and minds into the world of sunshine, of warmth and peace until he becomes a full-fledged adult. I believe that to prepare our young for the world of tomorrow, education should not only focus on simple transmitting knowledge but it place a premium on invention, innovation, anticipation and adaptation. I believe that learning must not only be on learning per se but it should be on learning to do, learning to be and learning to live together. I believe in the beauty and serendipity in the classroom, in the family and the home, in the oneness and diversity of a unified nation, in the strength of a world where countries care for Mother Earth...

The Pre-Raphaelite Brotherhood

...The Pre-Raphaelite Brotherhood, founded in autumn 1848, was an original artistic response to the revolutionary outbursts of the time in continental Europe. The mysterious letters “P.R.B.” features on the paintings of the young and completely unknown artists caused a stir in the English society. This group was comprised of London’s Academy students including John Everett Millais, Dante Gabriel Rossetti, and William Holman Hunt, each of whom was eager to change not only the principles of modern art but also the role it played in society. Combining scientific precision, an innovative approach to subject matter, and brilliant, clear colors, Pre-Raphaelitism was Britain's first avant-garde art movement. The members of the Brotherhood were well aware of their place in the culture with non-existent traditions of religious art, which had been obliterated in the 16th century during the Reformation. The Pre-Raphaelites were faced with an uneasy task – to revive religious art without employing the canonical imagery of altar paintings. Unlike the Renaissance masters, “P.R.B.” based their compositions not on imagination but on observations from everyday life. While the Pre-Raphaelites approached the Bible as a source of human drama and searches for literary and poetic meaning, they also addressed provocative narratives of modern life that employed religious iconography. Their compositions, focused on social issues and daily activities, often grew into parables, demonstrating how the......

The Body of Christopher Creed

...Bullying is an ordinary problem among teenagers today. Different types of bullying effect people in many different ways. The novel, The Body of Christopher Creed demonstrates different people bullying other human beings for no good reason. Renee Bowen, Alex Arrington, and most importantly, Mrs. Creed are examples of bullying used in the novel; each uses different types of bullying. Renee Bowen verbally bullies other kids in school, who are not friends with her, but is seen as a nice girl, until people get to meet her, and then she is neither so nice nor friendly. When Renee meets Ali at the WaWa; Renee gets up in Ali’s face and bullies her by calling her and her mom sluts because of the rumors she started. This is evident as Torey states, “Your stupid sex life makes it a problem where you stay!” Renee hollered. “I didn’t cause your legendary rep, Ali! You caused it! If people think you’re a slut, that’s because you practically begged them to! My dad told me about your mother. Well, guess what? You’re no better.” (Plum- Ucci, 207) Renee also surprisingly bullies Bo Richardson. When they were at the WaWa, Renee spots Bo and gets frightened, when Bo starts making fun of how scared she looks; she says, “I’m not scared of you, you ‘tard,” she croaked” (Plum – Ucci,...

One male in every family has to serve the army in order to protect South Korea from North Communist. It was a deadly battleground where your only choice is to kill or be killed, with no food or water it was a total test of survival for the soldiers. Bullets were flying everywhere that even in their sleep they have to wear their helmets and guns with them in case the enemies attack. The key component of this effort is the “BrotherHOOD Initiative”, where the “HOOD” stands for “Help Others Obtain Degrees”. This initiative is designed to engage and foster a stronger community for men of color at EMU. The BrotherHOOD aims for the brothers to interact with people from diverse backgrounds, graduate with a degree, and improve the conceptions of men of color. Through participation in the BrotherHOOD programs, the brothers will be able to develop and maintain healthy, mutually beneficial relationships. They will also be able to develop and articulate plans to achieve individual short and long-term academic, professional and personal goals. Gregory Thomas said “It’s crucial for our brothers to be able to communicate what they need effectively so we’ll be able to provide what they’ll need in a timely manner”. Athanasian Creed

...The Athanasian Creed, or Quicunque Vult (also Quicumque Vult), is a Christian statement of belief focused on Trinitarian doctrine and Christology. The Latin name of the creed, Quicunque vult, is taken from the opening words, "Whosoever wishes". The creed has been used by Christian churches since the sixth century. It is the first creed in which the equality of the three persons of the Trinity is explicitly stated. It differs from the Nicene-Constantinopolitan and Apostles' Creeds in the inclusion of anathemas, or condemnations of those who disagree with the creed (like the original Nicene Creed). Widely accepted among Western Christians, including the Roman Catholic Church and some Anglican churches, Lutheran churches (it is considered part of the Lutheran confessions in the Book of Concord), and ancient, liturgical churches generally, the Athanasian Creed has been used in public worship less and less frequently, but part of it can be found as an "Authorized Affirmation of Faith" in the recent (2000) Common Worship liturgy of the Church of England [Main Volume page 145].[1][2] The creed has never gained much acceptance in liturgy among Eastern Christians. It was designed to distinguish Nicene Christianity from the heresy of Arianism. Liturgically, this Creed was recited at the Sunday Office of Prime in the Western Church; it is not in common use in the Eastern Church. Today, the Athanasian Creed is rarely used even in the Western Church. When used, one common practice is......

The Body of Christopher Creed Essay

...The Body of Christopher Creed Essay By: BigJ38 Nobody really found out what happened to Christopher Creed, because there was no real evidence. Now a theory I have of what happened to Chris, was in Chris's note that he wrote to Mr. Ames, said "Dear Mr. Ames, I have a problem getting along with people. I know that people wish I were dead, and at this moment in time I see no alternative but to accommodate them in this wish. I have a wish. Not that anybody cares, but if anybody cared over the years, it was you. Here is my wish. I wish that I had been born somebody else.” He put names of people he wished to be like Mike Healy, Jose DeSantos, Tommy Ide, Evan Lucenti, Victor (Torey) Adams, and Alex Arrington. When Torey makes the website in search of Chris, the reply that seemed a lot like Chris must have been him. For one it had way too many details of what could have happened to him too many for an outsider to know. And for another, in Chris's note he listed Torey Adams as somebody he wishes he was born as. So the note that made him believe it was Creed was signed "Victor Adams." I think that Chris "killed" the person he was and didn't want to be that night in the woods when he MUST HAVE dug up his treasure because why else would his map be out there. So once he got far enough away he change his name to the person he most admired (obviously Torey) and tried to attain the traits that he liked most about the people he listed in his note. This is what I think......

Brotherhood

...Brotherhood is generally defined as a state of being between males who share the inherited make-up of one or both parents. There have been many instances where males who shared a parent did not have a true brother—after all, Cain killed Able. Genuine brotherhood goes far beyond genetics. True brothers encompass unconditional loyalty, trust, and love. In a brotherly relationship, loyalty is essential. Brothers are faithful to one another, they are steadfast. No thing, no person, and no word can break the bond between them because of their steadfast commitment to preserve their relationship against all odds. Loyalty in one’s brother outlasts and outweighs minor disagreements and misunderstandings. Most importantly, loyalty in a brotherhood breeds trust, which is essential in every serious relationship. Trust is so hard to gain, yet so easy to lose. It requires time and effort, two steps that many people neglect to take in building relationships. However brotherhood is different, brotherhood hinges on trust. Brothers trust one another with their innermost secrets, they trust in each other’s judgment on a range of issues, and they trust each other to “have one another’s back” through thick and thin. Moreover, trust is fundamental in creating the unconditional love on which a brotherhood depends. At first I wouldn’t relate “unconditional love to brotherhood”. But as I thought, I realized that unconditional love goes beyond romantic or parental love.  Building lasting......
