Doing the right things doesn’t automatically bring success. But compromising ethics almost always leads to failure. Saying that it is not all good faith becomes successful, yes we say that Mrs. Villante is have a good heart, but I would align myself into her son. Why? Because me as a marketing student, business is a first priority to me. He would rather make business the school, not because he would earn money. Base on my understanding of it, he would just also help his mother, since losing their school. Certainly many scholars in school, but not everyone is eligible. But base on my opinion, better to here is a be business, and if any should be the scholar’s here will also need to keep there degree and must also help them in school, just as oversight of library and the school facilities, for it was not wasted opportunities given by school. Success in life begins with purpose. When we find our purpose, we will feel good about who we are, what we stand for and where we’re heading. If the school will be the way to configure it, because it just also the visible way to his son to do just that business school, because here they will be to organize the schools, for it is also drawn to losses or failure their school. I Am What I Am

...“I Am What I AM” is a musical which was on shown in January in Sheung Wan Civic Centre. The story of the musical is actually a real-life story adapted from a Singapore transgender person, Abigail, about making a tough decision of being loyal to her true gender. Abigail’s frustration of whether to take the Sex Reassignment Surgery (“SRS” for short) or not was exquisitely presented in the musical, so as to communicate with the audience and encourage them to have an in-depth review about the related issue. Why Abigail hopes to be a female rather than a male? To uncover the underlying reasons, let’s start with knowing more about her life in early stage. Being born as a boy, Abigail felt that he was a girl deeply inside his mind. Liked other normal little girls, he loved playing Barbie dolls and doll’s houses. Presenting girls’ characteristics in his childhood gave him a derogatory nickname, “Girlish Boy”, which was frequently called by his classmates in primary school. Trying to conceal his female mind, Abigail always made himself looks like stronger, self-reliant through behaviors, thoughts but seems that was not successful. His classmates continued to laugh at him with offensive languages. When he grew up, he felt much more natural and comfortable to play with girls while sensed shy to play with boys. In Singapore, boys who aged 18 had to serve their duty in military. During that period, Abigail took baths in late evening after all the other soldiers took their baths. It......

... whether or not you have a hypothesis that addressed them. The final criterion listed above warrants additional mention. A good hypothesis is not only testable, that is, something you can actually test for in your study, but is must also be falsifiable. It is tempting to ignore this requirement, especially as a new researcher. We want so badly to find great things, and for our study to turn out exactly as we expect it to, that we tend to ignore the possibility that we don’t know everything and that no prediction is failsafe when it comes to humans. Try to keep in mind that all research is relevant. Whether or not your findings are what you expect, you will find something. Believe it or not, failing to find group differences can be just as important as finding expected group differences. In fact, studies that return results in opposition to what we were hoping for, or believed would logically occur, often lead to many more great studies than we could have hoped for. After all, it could be great for the findings of your current research to act as a guiding principal to your future research… it is likely that this would require less work in terms of literature review, as you would always be familiar with at least a portion of the literature that is relevant to your latest study!...

What Has Made Me Who I Am

...What Has Made Me Who I Am Our text tells us “You are the product of the way you were raised, as well as your genetics. And if you are a parent, your children will be the product of how you raise them” (Witt & Mossler, 2010, p. 11). Looking back at my life, I know that is true. There are many things in my life that have molded me to be the person that I am today. Some of these experiences have been positive, and some have been negative. Either way, they are all a part of what has made me who I am. I came from a broken home. My parents, who to this day hate each other, were divorced when I was just two years old. I was an only child to my mother and the youngest of three to my father, who had previously been married. Everyone tells me that I was the apple of my mother’s eye. I personally do not believe this, because for as long as I can remember, she was always busy with work and her own life, leaving little or no time for me. My father, made it very clear at a young age that he really was not interested in playing dad to a small child. My half sister and brother are much older than I am, so they were already at an age that they did not need this. Because of this, I spent most of my time with my paternal grandparents. They did everything for me, and with me. They were two of the most amazing people that I have ever met in my life. As a school aged child, I played soccer and basketball on the town leagues. Neither my mother nor my father ever saw a game. My......

Why I Am in College

...What is my purpose for attending College? Ever since I have been attending college all I hear is all my professors ask, why we are attending college? I have thought about it really well. At first I was attending college to please my parents. Then I had a baby and as she is growing and time passes by I see that economically everything is going up. In reality I know why I am attending college. I am in college to improve my economic status, be an example for my children, and to achieve my life goal of being a petroleum engineer. As I was growing up, I seen my parents struggle in paying bills. At times we would have our light cut off and be running extension wires from our neighbor home to ours in order to manage, until we had the money for the bill. I also recall asking for things and my mother saying, Sorry sweaty we don’t have enough or we can’t afford it. Now that I am a father myself, I don’t want my children to feel the burden I felt just because my parents weren’t financially stable. Don’t get me wrong I had a wonderful child hood but there were moments that I wish I could have a certain object. I just would like to provide for my children and still have a little extra in my pocket just in case of any financial instability or purpose. The second reason I am attending college is to be a great example for my children. Neither my father nor mother attended College or graduated for High school. So far I am the only one who has graduated from high school and I want......

My plan is to graduate from college and receive diploma so that I can enter a famous dance company or get a job about dancing, and that’s why I am attending college, even more than is the main reason why I am attending college. The second reason was that I wanted to get a better education more that high school. If I am the boss of the company, I won’t hire the people who just have high school diploma. My final reason is that I wanted to have college experience. I was glad that I can enter the college, so why I don’t take it and enjoy the real college’s life. The high school experience can’t satisfy me, and this is my chance, and I want to take it. My main reason to attend college is for getting a better life. Who I Am and What I Feel

...Elcano, Divine Hyacinth E. Block 24 Fil11 I’m a crybaby. I cry a lot, I complain a lot. Gaya ni Ma’am napaka strikto rin ng magulang ko, dapat ganito, dapat ganiyan, there even comes a time na I feel like I was under their shadows. Nasasakal ako sa kanila, naiinis ako sa kanila, I even told myself “I hate them!” ang sama kong anak, and I admit it. Sa kabila ng sakripisyo nila sa akin, ganun pa yung iniisip at sinasabi ko sa kanila. I’m selfish, I’m self-centered because of the things that happen to me. Hindi naman sila nagkulang sa pagpapa-alala sakin eh, I know that they were there pero may something na gusto kong maramdaman mula sa kanila, it was their support at yung konting words of encouragement man lang. Maraming mga......

...A. Accounting Assumptions= Assumption#1. Accounting Entity-A company is considered a separate “living” enterprise, apart from its owners. In other words, a corporation is a “fictional” being: / It has a name. / It has a birthdate and birthplace (referred to as incorporation date and place, respectively). / It is engaged in clearly defined activities. / It regularly reports its financial health (through financial reports) to the general public. / It pays taxes. / It can file lawsuits. Why Assume “Accounting Entity”? /It Provides Context. The accounting entity assumption enables users of financial reports to tell whose financials they are reviewing and therefore places those financials into context. /It Promotes Ownership. The assumption of a company as a separate economic entity promotes ownership in the business, since its current and future owners know that their financial liability is limited to the value of their investment while they are legally shielded from any potential lawsuits brought against the company. Assumption#2. Going Concern- A company is considered viable and a “going concern” for the foreseeable future. In other words, a corporation is assumed to remain in existence for an indefinitely long time.  Exxon Mobil, for example, has existed since 1882, and General Electric has been around since 1892; both of these......

What Am I Doing?

...Question #5: Identify controls that could have helped prevent or detect this theft, had they been in place Answer: * By providing fiscal policies and procedures in writing that are approved Board of Directors the entities sets a major underlying foundation for behavior that is expected and required. * These policies should include conflict of interest and code of ethics section. * Procedures should be updated every year * It is important that employees are taught and trained in the policies so that they learned of their existence and they get a sense of what is expected of them. * It is also important to exercise segregation of duties in the workplace. This means require different parties to perform key parts of the transaction. Specifically, separate the authorization, custody, record keeping and reconciliation duties. In the case, not only is Jessica in charge of the custody and record keeping duty, but there also seems that there isn’t any supervising bank reconciliation activity being performed. There are different controls that this entity could have used to avoid segregation of duties problems experienced that led to the burglary of funds by Jessica. Some of these are: * Implement a bank lockbox system that receives the entity payments. These system would have avoided Jessica or any employee to have to deal with cash by just getting bank notifications of the daily deposits for recording. * If a lockbox system is......

What I Know About College

...College, the next step in your life. What I know about college already is it is expensive, books must be bought through your own money, and it is better to take college classes in high school. Most of things I have learnt through school and my brother because he attends WKU and tells me a lot about college and how expensive it is. First, college is extremely expensive, not only because you have to pay to get in but you have to buy your own books and tuition is charged by how many hours you have of classes. Sometimes for some students it is cheaper than others and in other cases it is more expensive. Using the college dorms is expensive too, my brother had to pay six hundred dollars or so to live in a dorm. On average most books for college are one hundred to even five hundred dollars maybe even more and you buy more than a couple books. So just living in a dorm and buying your books could total to a thousand dollars. Next, books this is probably cost you more than you think. My friend that goes to UK pays around three hundred dollars for his books and that is for engineering classes. Imagine regular classes like chemistry and trigonometry. Worst part is you have to pay for books with your own money, yes you can get a loan but you still have to pay it back. My brother spent one hundred and thirty five dollars on a book he only used once and he could not pass the class without that book. Lastly, you better try and take college classes in high school than college, for......

...individual pupil they have. However in mainstream education the teachers have not been any types of training and therefore they are not able to work with the child efficiently and with the proper conduct. In a recent survey conducted by Mencap, a specialist organisation in learning disabilities a parent says “Mainstream teachers are not being given the training they need”. This can become detrimental to the child as they may need help or want to put their point across and because the teacher does not know what to do they may end making the child upset or uncomfortable. In a report the chief executive of Mencap says that “Parents feel the education service is woefully ill prepared to properly support children with a learning disability to reach their full potential.” This shows that parents who have children with learning disabilities in mainstream education feel that because of the teachers and education system their children are being held back and are not able to show what they are really capable of. Another disadvantage to having children with learning disabilities in a mainstream class is that the class sizes are too big. To effectively work with a child with a learning disability you would ideally have a class of around ten however normal mainstream classes have over twenty five pupils in them. This is problematic as some disabilities need one to one attention and because the class size is so big the teacher would not be able to give the focus all their attention to......

What Kind of Learner Am I

...Student name: Student number: M00482838 Module number: IFP 0100 Summative assignment 1 What Kind of Learner am I? The way in which we differ from the person next to us, such as our taste in food and clothes, defines who we really are. It is what distinguishes us as individuals in a group of people. The method that I use to carry out a certain activity could be similar or completely different to the way another person chooses to carry out the same activity. The way we learn follows this pattern. Having been brought up and educated in Libya, I found the transition to the British higher education system challenging for different reasons both personal and institutional, which I will discuss in this essay, stating why I consider myself an Accommodator with reference to David Kolb’s experiential learning model theory as explained by Payne and Whitaker (2000). In the middle of my second year of medical studies, circumstances obliged me to return to the U.K., where I had spent the first year of my life, to continue my studies in a different field, business, starting with an IFP course to develop, and improve my abilities in the English language and to get used to the British higher education system, which is different from the Libyan system as it puts greater responsibility on the student, to reach the required level of knowledge through developing his or her research and analytical skills, rather than a teacher-centric approach......

What I Look Forward to with Online College

...What do you look forward to, as you begin this educational experience and your personal search for purpose? What is your greatest fear? How can you overcome it? Write about one specific educational experience from your past where you addressed a fear and overcame it and how you succeeded in this process. I’m looking forward to the actual school work. It is a double edged sword thought because I am not computer smart and I do not have experience in writing papers either. I have been out of school for over fifteen years and my big fear is that I won’t make the grades. I have setup a support systems from fellow nurses who have already succeeded taking online classes to my husband who is in charge of keeping my computer working smoothly. I am the first person in my family to pursue a college degree. My biggest fear was if I was smart enough for college. When I first started I took classes to meet my humanities requirements. I took a class called Good Books not knowing the instructor had recently discovered his Native American roots. Thus all five books he chose for us to read that semester were related to the struggles and accomplishments of the Native American people. Now I was very upset thinking what on earth could reading these books do for me personally or professionally, I felt I was wasting my time and money. I thought if college was about taking classes that did not mean anything to me then maybe college was not where I needed to be. Now twenty......
