Cambridge Consulting Group: Bob Anderson

Introduction: Cambridge Consulting Group (CCG) in the last decade had been very successful due to the strong client relationship and they build upon the trust on the customers by their exceptional customer services. The team effort of CCG had done tremendous efforts to meet the client needs and requirements due to their strong intellectual capital and industry specific knowledge. CCG has created a competitive advantage out of closeness and trust. Prior to the last few years’ rapid expansion, CCG was able to maintain and grow these qualities through a system of informal mentoring and hiring intelligent individuals having done MBA from prestigious business schools in the United States like Harvard, Stanford and Wharton.
Main challenges: Bob has several interrelated challenges:
 Bob doesn’t have good understanding with John, his other partner in the group. He felt that John “was not forthcoming with new ideas and was not productive in developing new client relationships.” (Case Study, p. 2) This position taken by John left Bob feeling resentment.
 Vice presidents are neither motivated to learn nor engage in coaching skills because of the “ceiling on new partners and the growth of the firm.” (Case Study, p. 3)
 His direct reports are poorly trained and sometimes below expectations and above all he failed to provide feedback on it. He publically stated: “It’s a tough world out there; these associates need to learn to swing on their own.” (Case Study, p. 4)
 The firm itself neither rewards nor understands professional development. Therefore Bob has no current reason to change his position on employee development.
 Bob has not maintained his industry-specific knowledge. He is relying on past procedures, practices and relationships.
 No reward have been passed out for…...

...Shannon Motyl Individual Portion of Group Project American Intercontinental University An article on the FBI website stated that in order to have the discussion about police ethnics, the word integrity must be defined. Integrity is the sum of virtues required to bring about the general goals of protections and service to the public. The author, Rich Martin stated that the major cause of police corruption is mediocrity. It is the leadership’s responsibility to maintain a high level of conduct within a department to prevent the mediocre. He states that some reasons for the corruption is the work that police do. It is measured in results. Therefore, the officers will find ways to complete these tasks and some choose to cut corners or violate the law and not even consider it being unethical. (Martin, 2011) A report made by the National Police Misconduct reported in their Semi-Annual that there were 2, 854 law enforcement officers alleged to have engaged in misconduct. It also stated that there were 207 law enforcement leaders’ police chiefs or sheriffs that were cited in those reports. It included how many civilians that were involved in the law enforcement officer misconduct. It concluded that there were 2, 568 victims of reported police misconduct. ...International Expansion Report Tesla Motors, Inc. November 21, 2011 Rio Consulting Group Michael Dawes James Hadel Daniel Ma Simon Qin International Expansion Report | Tesla Motors, Incorporated | Rio Consulting Group Executive Summary Founded in 2003, Tesla strives to design, develop, manufacture and sell high-performance fully electric vehicles and advanced electric vehicle powertrain components. Currently, Tesla’s presence internationally is limited to dealerships in Europe and a minor production plant in Britain. In order to be best positioned moving forward, we recommend expanding into Latin America and Asia Pacific to better fulfill CEO Elon Musk’s primary goal to commercialize electric vehicles all the way to mass market. As we predict slow growth for the standard auto industry, we believe the electric vehicle industry is extremely attractive for several reasons, including high oil prices, less greenhouse gas emissions and government incentives. Our best estimates suggest the electric vehicle industry will have average growth rates of 35 – 40% over the next 10 years. International expansion, if done correctly, can help improve upon Tesla’s current strategic position in order to become the global leader in electric vehicles. We have determined that the optimal points of entry for the market are in Brazil and Singapore. In addition to gained access to the two fastest growing regions in the segment, the two locations are attractive for many political, economic,...

...Group Project Questions 1. If I were Dr. Mitchell I would recommend that the caller contact their attorney before they say anything to anyone else. The risks of continuing to work with the company could be that they get caught and the caller gets blamed as well, if anything the caller could be charged with conspiracy or aiding and abetting. The state board of accountancy could be a source of advice, but I would still recommend contacting an attorney before exercising that option. 2. The caller doesn’t have a responsibility to report this to the bank directly. Once again I feel that the caller needs to consult with their attorney before any actions. After that I feel that it is not the duty of the caller to speak with the bank, it would be the duty of the entity that is hired to investigate the fraud to consult with the bank. 3. The other parties that should be notified in addition to the bank once investigation has started could be the authorities. The accounts payable clerk wouldn’t be notified because although they informed the caller about specific transactions they still may let other people in the company know about the investigation. Other parties could be judges if search warrants and subpoenas are necessary. The caller’s attorney should be the first party to be notified so the caller knows what they should do with their current situation as to not incriminate themselves. Concerns that I would have about notifying the external auditors would be that......

...LIBERTY UNIVERSITY BAPTIST THEOLOGICAL SEMINARY Unreached People Group Project Submitted to Dr. David H. Campbell, in partial fulfillment of the requirements for the completion of the course GLST 500-B10 LUO Global Studies Survey by José C. Caballero March 6, 2015 Abstract God has a plan to reconcile His relationship with man after sin entered the world. This plan revolves around making His name known throughout all tribes and nations. From the Old Testament to the New Testament, the Bible presents God’s missionary purpose for humanity. For this reason, Christians involved in missions will travel to dangerous places to proclaim God’s name and saving power. According to the People Groups website, since the year 2014, there are a total of 11,168 people groups in the world and 6,544 are unreached people groups. All unreached people groups are in dire need of the Gospel and it is God’s intention to have His people reach them. One unreached people group who are in desperate need for God is the Koreans in North Korea. With a population of 25,360,100 and a communist government that regulates all aspects of freedom, including religion, for its people, explains why North Koreans are approximately one percent evangelized. North Korea is ranked as the number one country where Christians are most persecuted for their belief. God remains faithful to His intent on reaching all peoples and Koreans are not the exception.
